Omah and Mike are amazing people! Omah grew up in Trinidad while Mike grew up in Baltimore. The two met on a blind date and now have been happily married for 28 years. Mike said the first thing that caught his eye about Omah was and still is her smile.
Want to know the craziest part of the session? It was a surprise hosted by their daughter and my college roommate Melody. Mel had been texting me for a while about her awesome idea and kept me up-to-date as she chose their outfits and hurried them to Federal Hill Park in downtown Baltimore.
Mike and Omah were complete naturals in front of the camera and even had the idea to chase each other on camera and to replicate a family pose from an old photograph. This session is perhaps one of my new favorites because it is the first time I have done an anniversary rather than my usual engagement. It was a complete blast and be sure to check out some of my favorites!
For all my future brides and grooms out there, I want you to know that when you book me for your wedding you will be a client for life 🙂 I want to be there for your engagement, wedding, first baby, and 50th anniversary. We will be like family.
Congrats Omah and Mike on 28 glorious years of marriage! Your love is ever prevalent and a testament to what true authentic love can really do when shared between two people!
