How They Met:
Brandon and Sarah met while at college at Mount St. Mary’s University. During their junior year, Sarah saw him on campus and mentioned that she thought he was cute to one of her friends. That friend decided to tell one of his teammates on the tennis team what Sarah said, and that teammate shared it with him (she knew none of this). Then on the last night of Fall Semester finals week, Sarah was studying in the library and all of a sudden she looked up and he was standing right there and he said “Hi Sarah, I know we’ve never met before but my name is Brandon. I think you’re really beautiful and I was wondering if you’d like to hangout sometime”. Then they left for Winter Break (Sarah back to Pennsylvania and Brandon to Georgia) and texted every day until they could finally hang out in person the next semester!
The Proposal:
After graduation from the Mount, Brandon got a summer job in Sarah’s hometown in Pennsylvania. His family flew up from Georgia to visit in July and both families went out for lunch after their arrival. On the way to lunch everyone stopped at a fountain in the square of the city and Brandon gave Sarah a penny and told her to make a wish. When Sarah opened her eyes he was down on one knee!
Favorite Quality of One Another:
Brandon: Sarah’s kindness and sincerity makes her a great friend. She is always looking out for me and pushes me to be the best version of myself spiritually, physically, and mentally.
Sarah: Brandon is my best friend. We have fun together and he is always there for me. He is patient, kind, goofy, and has a positive attitude with everything he does.
Most Important Wedding Detail:
“Our family is so important to us and we are so excited to celebrate with everyone. We really just want everyone to have a great time, which we know will happen when everyone comes together. Also, dancing!!!”
