There are so many beautiful parts of a wedding day. With each wedding I find myself struck with uniquely different moments from each wedding. So naturally, it’s hard to decide what I love shooting on wedding day. There are celebrations where I’m completely intrigued by the ceremony. Then there are some weddings with memorable moments like the first look with the father and bride or the speeches!
While there are so many sentimental moments that catch my heart, each wedding is different. Each wedding is personal and unique because each couple is personal and unique. That’s the beauty of weddings!
One thing remains true; what I love shooting on wedding day, husband and wife portraits are such a special time on wedding day.
Wedding Day At A Glance…
First, a beautiful ceremony filled with laughter, happy tears and anticipation. Then, husband and wife portraits. Your wedding day starts with hair and makeup and then quickly details weave together. The day spirals faster and faster that by the time the ceremony concludes, most couples are ready to be alone for a few minutes to enjoy their new titles.
During husband and wife portraits I see a calming effect over the couples. They laugh, dance, kiss, and cuddle up. The stress of the day melts away and they enjoy one another’s presence. This also makes for the most natural and beautiful gallery!
By the time we are finished with husband and wife portraits, both the bride and groom are relaxed and ready to celebrate with family and friends!
While there are truly so many aspects of wedding day I love, these portraits would definitely be what I love shooting on wedding day, the most.
